About the work:
A Grand Exposition is a contemporary blend of Art Fair, Fun Palace, Science Salon and Techno Theatre, celebrating the fusion of art and science. Paul's continuing Milestone project is exhibited as a video installation showcasing the expressive possibilities of typography and image making, blurring the worlds of Art, Science and Technology. Using blood marker data, X-Rays, CT and echocardiogram scans, Paul transforms this scientific language through experimental ‘light’ photography to the macro photography of ‘fluids’ going beyond experimental image making and provoking a reaction in the belief that these visuals can interact and create new powerful connections and challenge the perception that cancer is ‘ugly’.
